Privacy is part of the service

For some couples, privacy is not a preference. It is safety. We handle your case discreetly and never publish names, photos, stories or details without explicit consent.

Some couples cannot safely be public

Many couples contact us from countries where same-sex relationships are not legally recognized, not socially safe or actively dangerous. Others simply prefer to keep a legal process private. Both reasons are valid. You do not need to perform your story for us. We only ask for the information needed to assess and process your marriage route.

Our privacy commitments

No public stories without consent

We do not publish names, photos, messages, documents, case details or relationship stories without explicit consent.

Neutral communication where possible

If privacy is sensitive, we can keep email subjects and messenger communication neutral where possible.

Careful document handling

We handle identity and civil status documents carefully and only use them for the purpose of assessing or processing your case.

Minimal necessary information

We ask for the information needed to understand your route. We do not ask for unnecessary personal history.

Respectful communication

We do not judge, dramatize or sensationalize your situation.

If you need discretion from the first message

You can start with minimal information: preferred name, secure contact channel, citizenships, residence countries and whether privacy is sensitive. Example: “We are an international same-sex couple considering marriage in Portugal. Privacy is sensitive. Can we ask about the legal route?”

Communication channels

You can contact us by form, Telegram or WhatsApp. If you need a specific privacy approach, tell us at the beginning so we can adapt communication where possible.

No communication channel is perfect. Do not send sensitive documents through a channel you do not trust.

High-risk situations

Some couples face real risks if their relationship or marriage plans become known. In high-risk cases, we recommend keeping public information minimal, avoiding unnecessary forwarding of documents and using neutral communication.

Same Vibes can help with the Portuguese legal route. We cannot provide emergency protection, asylum advice or security guarantees.
